World leaders gathered at the UN headquarters in New York for a landmark conference co-hosted by France and Saudi Arabia to advance the long-stalled two-state solution for Israel and Palestine having Jerusalem as their capital secured by borders. Canadian foreign minister Anita Anand delivered her speech on the first day of the conference agreeing with the two state solution. United States of America so far has not given any indication whether they will attend or not however sources believe that the resolution would be vetoed.
