Abdul Qahar Balkhi, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said in a television interview that the military assets wouldn’t be returned to United States and said that now they belong to Afghanistan. When asked, “what about in exchange of frozen assets?”, he said no. He further said that the frozen assets are the Central Bank of Afghanistan’s assets and they should be returned unconditionally.
