Conventional manufacturers and Tesla should be in serious trouble because Toyota said it is working on cars that would be driven on water not gas. When Toyota say something like this means they have already made it and they are testing it. And if that comes in the market God help to others.
Heroki Nakajima, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer said that water driven cars called BEVs would be in production soon. The car will use a device called aquagen to split water into Hydrogen and Oxygen that will drive the car’s engine. Adding the system in the car plus engine itself, would be quite costly but there would be a market for such cars in many parts of the world.
