In a joint statement Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden said that they stand behind Denmark to protect the fundamental principle of sovereignty. At this occasion Prime Minister Carney said, “To protect our people given the threats immeasurably well measurably but significantly. We agree that if we individually spend that money or we spend in an un-coordinated way, its not going to value our taxpayers. It also will not protect our people as much as we should. And it will not have spillover economic benefits to create jobs and better future for our citizens”.
