Former Interim Conservative Party Leader Steps Down.

Candice Bergen Steps down as member of parliament. She did not mention why suddenly she stepped down but doesn’t look that she is going to be out of political arena. Candice Bergen, former interim leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, announced Wednesday that she would be resigning as the member of Parliament for Manitoba’s Portage-Lisgar riding. Bergen, 58, announced her decision in a video posted on her official Twitter page. She said she submitted her resignation on Wednesday.
