Paris – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met Danish Prime Minister Metter Frederiksen in Paris on January 6. The meeting took place amidst renewed threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to annex the Danish autonomous territory of Greenland. Canada strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark, including Greenland.
