The farewell ceremony was held at Paramount Center, Mississauga. Due to all top dignitaries at one place, there was a heavy police presence and there were many black limousines all over the parking lot and in front of the entrance. When talking to the public, they were all in grieve and shock. One of the attendees said, “there would never be a Hazel again, she took care of us and never thought about herself. She was tough as rock” Alas, Mississauga lost a good caregiver.
