On September 28, 2017, the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, announced Creative Canada – A Vision for Canada’s Creative Industries, a roadmap that focuses on supporting our creators, delivering their content to domestic and international audiences, and ensuring that there is always a space for Canadians to connect through our stories.
At the heart of the Creative Canada vision is a transformation in how we view culture and creativity that will guide the Government of Canada’s actions over the coming months and years, as we modernize our cultural programs, policies, institutions and legislation for the digital world.
