Elon Musk did many inspirational things including creating Inspiration4 to carry all non-astronauts into the orbit. On this Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the long wait was over and Falcon 9 rocket took SpaceX’s Inspiration4 mission from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to orbit, with all-private crew for the first time in the history of space travel. Inspiration4’s Crew Dragon capsule, named Resilience, is carrying four non-professional astronauts: billionaire Jared Isaacman, who paid for the flight, and Hayley Arceneaux, Sian Proctor and Chris Sembroski. The quartet will circle our planet until Saturday (Sept. 18), when they’ll come back down for an ocean splashdown. (courtesy Space dotcom)
