Additionally, a fresh and rigorous process was instituted for approving significant infrastructure projects, resulting in significant obstacles to the construction of new pipelines, though it’s worth noting that the Supreme Court recently overturned several of these regulations. Furthermore, the government issued a mandate dictating that all vehicles sold in Canada must be electric by 2035, and the list of such regulatory actions appears extensive and ongoing.
