Winsor Mayor Reacts to Ottawa’s Letter

To end the February 2022 Windsor Bridge blockade Ottawa had promised to cover the cost the city of Windsor faced but the check from Ottawa came with 900k short. Former Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino did announce that the city will have 6.9 million dollars to manage and end the blockade but the current minister Dominic LeBlanc sent a smaller deposit with a letter that was described as the “middle finger to the people our (Windsor) community” by the Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens.
